DESCRIPTION
AAMA offers the following services which include support groups on topics related to HIV, alcohol and substance use prevention education and treatment for individuals seeking to gain more information and network with others facing similar situations. All services are offered in Spanish and English.

HIV case management
Family Services Project towards No Drugs
MAP/Project Tejas assists the community issues related to substance use. Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Supportive Outpatient (SOP), After-care, Recovery Support and Case Management services are offered in English and Spanish. Also offered are alcohol, tobacco, and drug assessments, drug screenings as well as individual counseling services and specialty groups.
The program is culturally sensitive, age-appropriate and approved by the Texas Health & Human Services Commission (THHSC) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services (SAMHSA) Center’s Substance Abuse Treatment (Virtual Sessions available).
